To provide engineering support, Ryanair Technics operated by JC Aircraft Maintenance, is inviting applications for Technical Manager to join their team in Kaunas. The Technical Manager will control all aspects of aircraft scheduled and unscheduled maintenance by delegating tasks to the Engineering team

Duties Include:

✈ Responsible for the control and standards of performance of the maintenance department

✈ Responsible for the day to day administrative disciplines the engineering team

✈ Oversee the work on both aircraft and in the support departments

✈ Ensure that the stores procedures are adhered to providing timely and approved spares for support of the maintenance activity

✈ Actively take part in aircraft maintenance duties

✈ Audit of Hangar Facilities in accordance with Company Procedures

✈ Meet weekly with Management and provide a detailed weekly report

✈ Allocate engineering staff to cover line maintenance services activities in out-of-hours circumstances to contracted customers

✈ Assist with planning scheduled maintenance

✈ Ensure that the aircraft documentation is completed in accordance with the company procedures

✈ Control and discipline of the staff

✈ Ensure that the staff adhere to their contracted working hours and start times

✈ Participate in the engineering duty weekend shift roster

✈ Assist with the training and development of the staff

✈ Ensure all work carried out by staff under their supervision complies with the Regulatory Authority and Company Procedures in force at the time of the work carried out

✈ Ensure all documentation is completed correctly before the work day/shift ends and a detailed hand over of any work in progress is completed


✈ Must be an EASA Part 66 qualified B1 License holder

✈ Must hold a Type rated Aircraft Engineer position or equivalent level within another organization

✈ B737-800 type rating will be a plus

✈ Ideally 8 – 10 years’ experience, preferably hangar based

✈ Must have supervisory experience

✈ High English language proficiency
